ministry

The Girl Scouts journey is to show each girl how to discover who they are. They develop a strong sense of self with positive values and gain practical life skills. The girls seek challenges and also develop critical thinking and healthy living. Their journey continues asthey learn to connect by developing healthy relationships and being a part of team building.

The girls also learn how to resolve conflict and promote cooperation. The Girls Scouts are involved in giving back to the community to make it a better place. The girls benefitfrom this because it educates and inspires them to help and make adifference. While they are having fun the girls are learning and growing in leadership skills which translate into making the world abetter place.

Girl Scouts Troop5553 consists of three levels, Daisy (kindergarten and 1st grade),Brownie (2nd and 3rd grade) and Junior (4th and 5th). The GirlScouts meet every two weeks in rooms 5 and 6.
